Bigum, you make a good point, but if I file one on them, I doubt they can file one back at me. Even if they do, I can appeal to the courts on the firearm issue. If not, I'll "sell" them to my dad first. |
Someone that I know had problems with a neighbor. He filed for a restraining order and it was granted. The neighbor also filed for one and it was granted as well. They still live next door to each other but must avoid each other. And, the police came and took his firearms once he had a restraining order on him.
I don't know much more than that. Just something to think about.
In regards to showing your firearm, I wouldn't do that unless you really knew the person. Just my two cents.
