Does the absence of a Y chromosome somehow make someone a better candidate to be either President or VP? I have to disagree with this suggestion if that is the only criterion that he uses to make his selection. I want someone who is a true conservative, someone who respects the Constitution as written, someone who values American ideals. If the person chosen can fulfill those criteria, I care not if their skin is red, yellow, black or white, nor do I care what their age is, so long as they can legally serve as President, nor if they have a penis or a vagina. I want at the minimum a qualified conservative Vice President, so that if/when his age makes it impossible for McCain to continue to serve, that person can take over and begin reversing some of the damage done by Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43, and McCain.

I'm not sure being a woman or man makes someone better to be VP, but I do think it could draw a block of voters away from Obama.
