| I first read this thread a while back and it got me to thinking.
A friend of mine has over 1,000 acres of wooded land in the Pa. mountains. The only thing there is his hunting cabin. We had a nice chat and he said if the SHTF I can head there. I'm going hunting with him this fall so I can get the lay of the land and find a place to start caching extra ammo, and non-perishable supplies. I figure I can add to it every time I go and build it up. He said there are some old root cellars and barn cellars that are well hidden that could be used.
I still have a long way to go, (money and time) but I am getting things together slowly. The next major purchase will be an ATV with a cargo trailer to make sure I can transport extra guns, ammo, reloading equipment and supplies, clothing and food if I have to bug out.
Thanks to everyone here for waking me up to this issue.
