I was a little surprised when I was first exposed to it via friends in Texas and Australia. Apparently, it is relatively common there. The dogs wear wide collars to minimize k9 injury. The hogs... Well.

FWIW, the traditional method was to use dogs to corner and finish the pig with a short hafted boar spear. Not everything "traditional" continues to be a good idea, conceded, but I personally don't have a problem with this method. I can see how others might and offer no judgement (or flames
) accordingly.
Anyone that knows of a population, has property owner permission, and intends to organize a hunt? I would love to tag along - traditional or centerfire.
