You can search for ground ivy and search for "Trimec" Several applications of that will kill it but you aren't ging to find it at Wal Mart.
In the mean time I suggest you raise the deck of the mower to the highest setting possible. Most people cut their grass way too short and weeds thrive. | Thanks, Fenway. I raised the mower to the highest setting per your advice a couple of months ago. I'll look up Trimec.
