I hear this now about McCain, he is too out of touch, he is too old, all implying that he doesn't have the brains to do the job. I heard it from liberal elitists now about Palin. She is just too stupid to do the job.

The liberal elitist said it about Bush until the GPAs of Kerry and Gore turned out to be lower, then they dropped it, even though they made their impression on the sheep who kept it up.

They said it about Reagan, "Ronnie Raygun". Too stupid and dangerous to have his finger on the button.

Hmmm, I would like to see Obama's GPA, which he won't release, probably for a good reason. It might detract from his "brilliant" moniker from the liberal elitists.

Calling your opponent stupid and; thereby, dismissing any debate is an easy way to deflect scrutiny of the issues.

The Democrats have been in charge of the Congress and have done nothing about the current crisis, yet claim no responisbility.

How is this any different?
If you look with an open mind I think you will see that both sides spin. I see the same conservative elitist spin about the Demcrats.

The Democrats in Congress were given the huge mess we are in now. Sure they haven't done much to fix it but when you have a President that is unwilling to change his mind about anything its not easy.

In case you haven't noticed our governmnt is set up so that no branch can easily run over the others. The only thing that they can do is say "no". If all don't say "yes" then things don't change.

Calling your opponent an "elitist" or unpatriotic and, thereby, dismissing any debate is an easy way to deflect scrutiny of the issues.

If the Democrats need to face up their shortcomings then so do the Republicans.
