I was over a half mile from the closest established campsite, There was a large inclined hill 50 yards behind the squirrel and I was shooting from standing onto the ground. I felt pretty comfortable with the shot.
But yeah, a "hiking" club sounds good to me. There are a couple ppl around here on this site that I think would be interested
