I was told 2 days ago by a guy who used to work for DPMS that all the major sources have government contracts and when the military puts out orders to be filled, everyone else goes on hold while they fulfill. It is in their contract with the military. With the current ramp-up for Afghanistan, that could be driving some of the delays.
