| My father was an Operator of the old school. One of the most important life lessons he taught his boys and I now teach mine is, it is a moral responsibility of the strong to defend the weak. Carrying a firearm is a much larger responsibility than I fear many of those who carry realize. That roscoe you got strapped to ya loaded up with all kinds of newfangled lights and lasers and those horribly devastating thermo-nuclear exploding black talons does not have a stun setting. Killing in defense of yourself or family is a no brainer, but you must also consider those that didn't have your foresight so find themseves in the line of fire without so much as a multi-tool. I would never suggest you put your loved ones into any danger but if or once they are safe you may still be the only one on scene capable of ending the bloodshed. You should decide now if you are a sheepdog protecting the herd or just a sheep with fangs.
