I always think of what if??? Like what if you had to at some point remove a limb or deal with a bad gunshot wound these things would be more valuable than anything especially the antibiotics. I always try to get the Doctor to double me up on those if I get sick so I have extra to save for SHTF, Unfortunately they are only good for a year or so. When I get prescribed pain meds I almost never take them at least not unless the pain is just unbearable, I just hold on to them. some of the other items can be found without going to the RX Nitrous Oxide could be used to preform surgery and can be purchased legally in charges for whipping cream. Ether can be obtained from starting fluid. Many of the items on that list would be pure wish for stuff and more valuable than Gold in SHTF I imagine they could be had in small quantities if you have a Dr or a Vet in the family. As far as thugs are concerned.... Well isn't that what being prepared is all about being better equipped and trained, ready to deal with undesirables... In SHTF if my family needs something and there is any way I can obtain it I am going to acquire it... Or die trying...
