M&P9 or XD9...anyone have 'em?

Hi,

I'm looking to see if any fellow INGO-type people might have either a M&P 9, either the "standard" size or the compact with magazine extension?

Or either the 4" service or the 4" "compact grip" XD in 9mm?

I've never shot either of these pistols and I'd like to.

The only things I have to go on are the physical stats of these vs. the physical stats of a G-19. In just about every statistical category, the G19 "wins"...lighter...shorter...thinner...lighter trigger...etc etc. But in the subjective arena, I think that the MP is the winner on looks and in grip comfort.

And if any owners of the above mentioned pistols are pondering a trip to Atterbury shooting range this weekend (Sunday?), if possible, I'd like to fire your weapon(s)...with my own ammo, of course.

Also, if you own the above weapons AND a G-19, a first-person account of each's strengths and weaknesses as compared to the XD and/or MP, well, I'd like to hear those, too.

Thanks.
