I've always had good experiences there, but did once get called down for shooting double taps. Apparently there is a 1-second rule between shots. I wasn't emptying a clip as fast as possible into the target, just nice controlled double taps (nothing hit outside the 9-ring) and certainly didn't consider that rapid fire. The RO told me to stop - right before complimenting the grouping. He wasn't nasty, even though I was inadvertently breaking the rules.

I've found the guys there to be polite and have even been allowed to shoot double taps for a half hour or so right at opening when there have been no other shooters. The rule was not put in place to stop people like me shooting nice groups, but for the idiots out there shooting uncontrolled groups. Don't believe me? Check out all the patched concrete overhead the next time you are there!

The facility is absolutely outstanding and I would definitely recommend it unless you are training for competitive shooting where you need to draw and shoot or shoot quickly.
