Note To Mods: If this thread is out of line in anyway feel free to delete or close. I'm simply wondering what you could possibly use bullets for if you had no guns to shoot them with. The scenario is intended ONLY to give the poster no option to use the bullets with their intended tool.
The Year is 2020, and the US has been "invaded" by "UN" Troops and Mercs. Sort of Red Dawn, but more "Blue Dawn: The UN Invasion". You are out in the mountains far from the fighting but also far from civilization, minus a few scurmishes here and there with (Insert Fear Here). Somewhere along the line your gun was damaged beyond repair. Maybe the bullet blew up the gun, was damaged by grenade, what have you. Maybe though half the barrel or less is still intact.
The point is, you have 2000K rounds or more of (Pick your caliber boolit) and no gun to shoot it with. You have no other guns, no parts, no way to shoot the boolits.

DANG IT!
So now the question remains: What to do with all these bullets?
What could you possibly use them for? Starting cooking/camp fires? Explosives? Could you saw the remaining part of the barrel off and use them anyway one at a time?
Don't ask me where this come from, but the thought popped in my head about what could I possibly use boolits for if I didn't have a gun to shoot them with and it was a survivalist situation.
I know, I know, I'm weird. I'm sorry.
