Can you think of a situation you would run into on Indiana highways were a 10 rounds out of a rifle wouldn't solve the problem?
If you can't solve the problem with 10 rounds out of a rifle, chances are you aren't going to solve it at all.

I'd go with the SKS. Superior penetration to buckshot, much less recoil than slugs and stripper clips can be carried for quick reloading?
