| I do all my fishing up there in the spring with live bait so my patterns are pretty worthless to you in August. Some other advice though, buy your booze here and take it up. Pay the duty on it at the border, it is much cheaper that way. NO HANDGUNS! That is a very quick way to se the inside of a cell. You may not like it, but remember it is another country and they don't enjoy the same freedoms as we do. If you take a long gun, prepare to have your vehicle searched and make sure all your paperwork is filled out properly. Gas is about $1.09 or so a litre. There are roughly 4 litre's to a gallon, so make sure to budget for this is you need to stop for gas.
Bring you wife or kids back a bunch of chocolate bars. The chocolate doesn't have near the wax content that ours does, as a result it is outstanding! Especially the Jersey Milk bars, yummy. If you are a caffeine freak, don't buy Mountain Dew up there as it contains zero caffeine!
I'd call up there and ask the place you are staying what is working there now and what has been proven to work in the past before you go out and spend a bunch of money on fishing gear.
