Lungs here as well for reasons already stated. Last season a buddy double lunged an 8 pointer with a 12 gauge slug and that deer ran a good 200 yards and jumped 2 fences in the process. We found lung butter before we got to the first fence and knew he would drop. It wasn't until we field dressed that we saw the holes through both lungs and he still made it that far.

The only difficult part of tracking him was when he jumped the first fence, crossed the road and jumped the second fence.
