I also am Diabetic and was on insulin and many many meds for related issues.

Plan: reduce your current BGL's and overstock your meds, as you reduce your need for them.

In the situation: Activity levels wil increase, poor food choices will be reduced, and more healthy natural foods will become the norm, all leading to a reduced need for the medications you will stock up.


Adult onset diabetes is less likely to produce the dibilitating effects of diabetes in a short time frame, and is easier to control. Good news for you.

Medical conditions that should also be planned for are High blood pressure and gout, which often are found in diabetics at some point.

All current medical conditions should be prepared for either by stocking meds or by finding alternative methodes for treatment.

Also stocking of besic medical supplies is advised and discussed at length in other threads. There are also courses in first aide that are advised as training for difficult situations.
