I don't see where it would effect accuracy except change length of pull. But I'll take off the stock plastic butt plate to help take some of that out. I guess I'll see if it effects getting my cheekweld where I need to for the scope before I decide whether to stick with the pad or get the shoulder pad. Either way I can always put it on something else, lol. As long as it doesn't change my cheekweld too much, and helps me from killing my shoulder at the range or in prone position, I'm happy, lol.
