Brown Bear has the lacquer, Silver bear has zinc coating. All of these coatings are to ensure that the casing cycles through the action like brass. The brass coating is all that is needed, so there should not be any coating on top of it. It
should function just like a brass casing. My experience with Silver Bear is that it does just that.
