Well I've never fired a .270 lol. Based upon the ballistics, I think the 150gr '06 and .308 would be about the same. Now my AR-10 Carbine - with the 150gr loading - has almost no recoil... but that .308 round is nice and bassy
Now keep in mind, after firing military weapons like the 40mm M203 - and even my 3" Magnum 12 gauge 00 loads - pretty much everything is reasonably "light"
