Excellant illustration. It shows perfectly why I won't take a shot with a bow when they have their leg in the way. Especially on something that's just meat like a doe. They are just like street cars, there's a doe on every corner. I'm not taking a long hard shot on "meat". I'll just wait for the "can't possibly miss this, what am I out here for if I'm not going to shoot at them" shot on meat.
60 yards can be a long way in thick brush or almost dark and I don't like to chase them not to mention the taste of one that runs until it bleeds out. When meat is the whole point of shooting it, I want it to be right not good enough. One lung is usually good enough but I'm not going to take a shot with the intent of getting "one lung".
Now if I'm looking at a big pot of antler stew as a topping to the meat dish, then it could very well be a whole different story and I'd probably take a shot if I thought I'd get a double lung. Congrats and that's a nice buck, a REALLY nice buck with a bow of any kind.
