I use the rechargeables for everything. Using a recharger and a 300 watt power inverter in my truck works perfect. I highly recommend everyone investing in at least a 300watt power inverter for your vehicles. And rechargeable batteries pay for themselves. They may look expensive, but compare that to how much you pay for non-rechargables... the rechargeables last as long as 10 20pack AA's. If not longer. I use them in my wireless keyboard, digi camera, kids toys, flashlights, remotes, etc.
