| If I'm shooting a sanctioned match, State, National, Major competition, etc. most of them are "lost brass". It's a safety issue, they don't want folks scurrying for brass and tying up the match while they're running it as quickly as possible. I don't blame them at all. At those matches, I load up with a bunch of Blazer and leave it all lay. Shooting local IDPA and USPSA matches, you can usually collect your own with no problem. I used to mark mine on the base of the cartridge with a cross of red magic marker.
