| Commentary I read on another site mentioned that under Texas law, the justifiable use of force is actually more lenient if you're looking after a neighbor's property rather than your own. While both were shot in the back, one was angling nearer the man and ended up closer to him than when he started running (could be considered a threat) and the possiblity was raised that the other was heading for a vehicle to retrieve a weapon. Personally, if a guy with a gun tells me to stop, I'd seriously consider stopping. |
