With all due respect, Don, from what I've read everywhere else, chromed barrels are good if you're going to be somewhere with lots of humidity, etc. and rare cleaning, but otherwise, they only degrade your accuracy. I don't know from personal experience, but I do know that my guns are carefully cleaned often.
