| I would have to say a big NO on this one. I've worn 511's over the years with the shirt untucked, they look like any other cargo pants, but have even gone so far as to remove the visible tags from all of them. The same goes for my packs, and bags when flying. Now a days, it's just not worth it. The 511's are in the closet and the regular khakis or cargos come out when needed. I do like Woolrich's Elite series discrete pant though.
The only place any gun related gear or clothes is ever worn these days is at the range on training days. Now the slightly oversized polos or button down shirts, yea guilty. I see so many non gun guys wearing those, I hardly think that's advertising.
Possibly it's just from the places I travel, but it pays to live the "Gray man" lifestyle (I've got a great article on that, I just can't remember who wrote it). Many moons ago when travelling through Europe on my way out to parts much sandier, I spent several hours in an airport with more "friends" than I ever care to have following me around. That was all the experiance I required to get my head screwed on straight.
Keep in mind guys, the bad guys know this stuff too. Walking around in your favorite tactical teddy wear may just get you cracked in the grape and your piece taken before you ever knew the fight was on. Sorry if I offend you here, but the same goes for open carry.
As far as the vehicle stickers and plates go, I have enough trouble keeping turds from breaking into my truck. I don't really need them thinking they'll score a gun to increase the frequency of that little joy. Ah but that's probably for another thread. Incidentally, that's also why I feel the "trunk gun" is one of the most dangerous concepts I've heard in a while.
