Motorcycle gun mount

Being a veteran, motorcycle rider and gun enthusiast, I think it would be neat to have a vertical-carry scabbard fashioned to mount on my Harley similar to what was used on military motorcycles during World War Two. I've searched motorcycle sites and forums without success so here goes a try on the weapon side of the equation.

Are you wanting to mount to the forks?
