    My thought exactly. Though I think if someone wanted to make the effort to recess it into a wall then it would be quite effective.

    The large frame looks like something that would best be embedded into the wall.

    Man, I'm not. When in other peoples homes I don't, upon seeing a picture frame, immediately suspect it hides a firearm. Now, if the frame was five or so inches thick like the one we are discussing here it might be a giveaway. Hidden but accessible is the only way to stash guns around the house.

    I would be worried that the wife would not like the picture and sell it in a yard sale with my gun in it when I am not home.

    Not to mention most robbers either throw picture frame off the wall to see if there are safes behind them or steal them if the robbers think they are worth something.
