My understanding for people wanting to boycott WM is that the majority of their products are made overseas in China and they like to come into small towns (or any size town) to set up shop and they end up putting mom and pop stores out of business. | |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | That's capitalism last time I checked. The biggest, and cheapest usually wins. If mom and pop can't offer something better they have to pack up. Free market system. That's why the best bet is to offer better service. But in today's society many people would rather have cheap and quick than service. I know I do on some things. I will always get my groceries from WM because they are a million times cheaper than anywhere else around, and they will price match, I can get my groceries, look for t-shirts, pick up ammo, and buy my wife flowers all at the same time. They can be doing business with the devil himself for all I care, but I have to have cheap groceries.

![]() ![]() ![]() | the new wal-mart over buy lafayette square mall doesnt even sell ammo anymore (except shotgun shells, go figure).. when i asked the salesman about it they said its because of the neighbor hood that the store is located in... so just because the store is in a bad location they wont sell ammo, the same ammo that is at Dons guns right down the street...? oh, they'll sell shotgun shells but becasue the area they cant sell handgun or rifle ammo.. who comes up with these rules?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was in the WalMart in Greenwood, by 65 and the Gander Mountain. I wanted to check out the 9mm 100 pack. Seems like a good price. The woman running the counter picked my up two packs of those and two bulk packs of golden bullet .22. Then she mentioned a guy that comes in every two weeks and buys a bunch of Federal bulk pack .22, a bunch of the 100 round 9mm, and a bunch of shot gun shells. She said, "He spends like $300. He must shoot a lot." To me it said, he must be converting a biweekly paycheck into ammo prep. To quote Jeff Cooper, ballistic wampum. Quote:

I've also started buying 100 rounds of WWB .45 too. I call the .45 wishful planning.
