Amazingly enough, every time I go in there they usually have 20 or so boxes. It might even be more than that. I'm surprised they keep that much on hand.

I think the Meijer on 38th street has had the same 3 or 4 boxes for the last couple months.

You're probably the reason they always are well-stocked if you go in every pay period. The store I work at gets replenished as we sell things, so since that's a staple item, they recognize that they sell X number of Thingies each week and need to keep a good supply on hand to fill that need.

And the reason the Meijer still has the same 3 or 4 boxes is there is probably because (if it's anything like the Meijer by us), you can't ever find anyone in the Sporting Goods department to help you.

Yes, that is probably the reason. I have walked from one end of the store to the other and have not seen 1 single employee. When I finally found him, he was over in some other department helping someone. It might also be that they want $24 a box as opposed to $19 at WalMart.
