Lightbulb AMMO @ WALMART

Not sure if it's a deal or not; however I can't come accross any thing better on the web (maybe not looking in the right place).

Walmart's "value" pack of 100 rds of .45 230 grain FMJ Winchester for $0.31 per round.

AMMO @ WALMART

from what I've seen and heard...Walmart buys ammo via freight train boxcar quantity. So if you see a decent price at Walmart...buy it up when you can. Most other suppliers won't be able to match their prices due to the bulk buy.

Their WWB 9mm plinking ammo is the cheapest I can find ($18 now! It was $12 less than a year ago!), but their .223 is still crazy expensive.

Indy Walmart

Does anybody know which Indy Walmarts carry 45 ACP ammo at that price? Some of the stores throughout the state do not carry any ammo.

The New Castle store is where I bought the above mentioned.

I'm pretty sure the Avon store carries everything. The shotgun shells are on the shelf behind the counter and the handgun ammo is under the counter.

Reload your own. Wal-Mart will not get another dollar from me unless its an emergency. Even them I may suffer.

Ditto . . . I've given up on Wal-Mart. They do have good prices on WWB 9mm and Blazer Brass .45, but I'm going to Rural King for that anymore.

Walmart had great prices back two years ago. Since the price increases wallyworld isn't much cheaper than anyone else.

Back when I was buying 100 round bulk packs of 9mm for 8.96 (3 years ago) they were way cheaper than anyone else. Now that i can buy Fiocchi and s&b 9mm for 21 cents a round vs wally worlds 18.9 cents a round plus tax... no way I'm buying from them. Besides Fiocchi is twice the ammo WWB is. Winchester (basically of any flavor) is to shooting as 'basic' is to smoking. Sub-par generic it'll do in a pinch stuff.

I will admit that I do still buy federal bulk packs of .22lr from wallys.
