New Range bag

I don't normally post a whole lot, and I certainly don't try to sell anyone anything..... however....

I just got my new Midway range bag today. This thing is huge. It's made in China, but it's is very well made, has two extra gun rugs, in addition to inside pockets that will easily handle one gun each, and loads of room for anything you need at the range. It's on sale now, and the reviews on Midway's site are accurate. Excellent value.

I bought one of those from Midway also. Your right they are huge, plenty of room for just about anything you could possibly need on the range.

That is on my list to get, by all accounts you cannot beat it for the money. And even with a lot more money it takes a bit to surpass that I hear.

We need some photos ASAP sir!

It is a knock off of the 5.11 range bag. I have the 5.11 and my dad has the Midway one. It is a decent knock off though. The 5.11 has the quality edge (nice materials and all that), but functionally, the Midway one does the exact same job for about 1/3 the price. I bought my 5.11 bag before the Midway bag was out, but I still don't regret my purchase as I have used and abused it and it keeps coming back for more. The only thing I really like about the Midway bag better than the 5.11 bag (other than price ) is that I feel that the D rings for the shoulder strap on the Midway bag are a lot better (thicker and heavier).

The only thing that I wish they had done differently, would be to have put a more solid bottom in it.

Wasn't a deal breaker though at that price

You could always get a light/medium gauge steel sheet to put in the bottom and if it has one of those plastic bottoms put that back over top.

Exactly, although I used thick plexiglass.

Not the best pics I've ever taken, but it might give you an idea of how big the bag is. Plenty of room to grow into it, or for a married or shooting couple.

Eye and ear protection, and ID or business card window.

Opposite end of the last picture. Pocket fits two water bottles, and there's even a peanut butter jar holder for Rhino.

This has the lift out mini bag taken out and to the right, it also has D-rings for the shoulder strap. The lift out mini bag has adjustable velcro seperator walls and 6 mag slots. Two pistol pouches laying in front, they slide in on the sides of the lift out mini bag.

Two outside pockets on one side, big enough for eyes and ear gear. They also both have 5 elastic shotgun shell slots each. The long compartment opposite the two pockets is big enough to hold a decent sized cleaning kit, it also has 8 mag slots.

I generally keep the following in the bag and still have room for additional items.

Eye and Ear protection including disposable ear plugs for those who may not have any.

200 rounds 9mm

Two 16 cap. mags.

Two bottles of water

Flashlight

Wet wipes

Cleaning kit

Item to add: a small first aid kit. Reason being, I was at Pop's recently and yes I know this is stupid but .... I got a damn paper cut on one of the paper targets. Bled like a stuck pig and all I could do was wrap a wet wipe around it. It finally stopped bleeding but was still a pain in the ass that a simple band aid could have remedied.

Have fun....

Nice bag! I've been looking for a bigger bag, but they're always either only slightly larger than what I already have, or they're big enough to hold a Volkswagen. This one looks to be just about the right size.
