I see those at the 1500. I think there was a discussion on GT awhile back about what the long-term exposure to the strong magnets would do to the slide. Would the slide become partially magnetized and cause failures, etc.

Better make sure you don't use steel-case ammo.

You'd be lookin cool pointing your pistol at a BG with paperclips, bobby pins and silverware hanging from it.

i'm curious how a slightly magnetized slide would affect function. might cause it to attract fines, but...

Did anyone take a look at the link to the FAST CAR HOLSTER? That seems like a great way to get your dashboard ripped apart and get your gun stolen all at the same time. But the padlock sure looks pretty? Pretty darn useless! Seriously if I have to leave my gun in my car I'm not going to leave it sitting there in plain sight with a huge padlock on it but only a handfull of little iddy-biddy screws holding the whole holster to my dashboard. Bad guy wants your gun he's going to smash your window and tear your dashboard apart to pull that gun, with the holster, right out of your car. Probably in under a minute. JMO

Wow. That's good, in theory, but it wouldn't take much to break that holster free of the metal mounting bracket. I think they need to go back to the drawing board on that one.

mrw is on a distinguished road
I see these at the 1500 last winter. The coolest item they had was under the counter. They took a Burger King King Size Drink cup and molded a piece into the bottom of the cup that held a glock muzzle down. Put the lid and straw on and it whole thing fit in a cup holder in your car. I should have bought one.
