you did notice in the daylight it's mostly clear. with a slight green/white tint right?

you might consider instead
Daytime Yellow Glow in the Dark Paint - since If I read your first post correctly, the White doesn't cut it during the day for you.

With 1/2 oz, you could probably paint your entire gun.

By the way, they sell a "sample pack" with several different colors which I highly recommend.

And W9ZEB is right, the paints are mostly white or translucent in the daytime (which is why I bought them).

As stated above by others, go for a colored version.
Use a toothpick to drop the paint where you need it to go. A brush (even a teeny tiny one that comes to a point) holds too much paint that will spread to where you DON'T want it to be.
The spot that you're painting...is it recessed or flat? If it's recessed, it's a little more forgiving. Keep a Q-tip handy and just swab off anything that goes outside the little dug-in well area. If it's flat...hold it vertical until it dries or gravity is not your friend.
Use a hair dryer to speed set it.

This site has glow in the dark sight paint:

Shooting accessories

Sight Paint Kit

Un-retouched photograph shows how bright it glows
Our glow-in-the-dark Sight Paint Kit is very effective for dusk and dawn hunting and defensive applications where sight visibility is reduced. The "Sight Paint Kit from 20/20 Concepts is easy to apply and improves quick visual pick up in low light conditions" - Rick Miller in the December 2002 issue of Combat Handguns.

The key to its brilliance is the phosphorescent pigment in the glow paint. Unlike fluorescent paint, our glow paint becomes energized by a brief exposure to light (10 to 30 seconds for full strength). It glows brightly for about 30 minutes. The pigment can be "recharged" indefinitely.

Application is simple - just clean the sights with alcohol and apply a couple of thin coats of the glow paint. A vial of primer paint is included as an option if the surface requires better adhesion. The primer also provides a white background for optimum luminosity. Very durable, the paint can remain intact for years, but can still be removed if desired. The kit will cover at least 30 gun sights.

Glow in the dark paint sucks, dont waste your time. I tried it on my coyote hunting gun at night, not worth the effort.

Save your pennies and get the real deal.

i just spent a small fortune workin on my ak
What did do to your AK that cost a small fortune? I am working on one of those cheap rusty kits now, total cost will be less than $150 once I am done.

AK= cheap and reliable If you spend a spent a small fortune you got ripped off.

Forget buying your C&R rifle and use the money for a decent sight.
