Looking for a Carry Open/Conceled for a compact 1911

I'm buying a compact 1911 as a carry gun.
I need to find a "Reasonabley Priced" carry holster.
Prefer a Clipon or Paddle type, I think.

Please point me to a good source and educate me.

I don't normally wear a belt, but may have to start.

Do you prefer leather or plastic?

I prefer plastic, try these 2 mfgs Comp-Tac & Blade Tech holsters, knives and tactical gear for military, law enforcement, shooting competition and hunting.

I like both Blade Tech and Comp-Tac. I am currently using a Blade Tech IWB for my 1911.

For my 1911, I have found nothing else that works besides Galco. :-)

If you want a belt holster, it would be tough to beat a Blade-Tech with a Teklok or one of Comp-Tac's locking paddles (which are not very much like other paddle holsters).
