glock Subcompact Night Sights

I was just wondering what you all are choosing the increased sight radius? or stock type for easier 1 handed manipulation ?

I didnt give up any accuracy over my 19 or 17 going down to the 26. so i just got 19/17 mep's on my 26. I liked the idea of having stock shape to be able to hook on my boot or belt or anything to wrack the slide.

When I had a G26 (which, for the record, I should never have sold), I installed the Meprolight night sights. These are the sights where the rear sight reaches back half an inch to incrase sight radius. I think that when you have a sight radius as short as that on the G26 and other subcompacts, anything you can do to increase the sight radius, even by half an inch, is probably a good idea.

Also, these sights stand just as tall and straight as Meprolight's other sights which means they do not detract from one's ability to execute one-handed manipulations such as racking the slide by hooking the rear sight on your belt and pushing down.

In fact, because these are steel sights, they seem to be an improvement over the OE plastic sights because they will likely withstand more abuse without breaking.

Thus, I believe the Meprolight sights for subcompact Glocks both improve one's ability to shoot accurately because they provide a longer sight radius AND do not detract from the ability to perform one-handed manipulations. The fact that they are made of steel and not plastic is another advantage they offer over the OE sights.
