![]() | For IWB or OWB holsters, I recommend Raven Concealment Systems. RCS' online store front is located here: The Malabar Front I have numerous RCS holsters including a belt holster for my Colt 1911 and a matching double mag pouch. RCS makes quality kydex holsters that are thin and cause your handgun to ride close to your body so as to not show under a cover garment. These are very comfortable holsters too. I stongly urge you to not carry in the "small of the back" position as you risk parlyzing yourself if/when you fall on your back and your pistol crushes your spinal cord. Also, while you may try to save money by purchasing an inexpensive cordura or injection molded holster (examples include Uncle Mike's and Fobus but there are others), I recommend against cheap holsters. They will not provide the security, durability, consistency of draw or comfort needed in a holster that will be used daily to carry your self defense weapon. ![]() | Here are my IWB holsters, they are for 5" 1911s and are quite comfortable. They are both made by Lou Alessi of Alessi Holsters. They were not cheap and there was a bit of a wait to get them , but after trying a bunch of cheap stuff it was worth it ![]() The PCH is on the left and the WSDT (my favorite ) is on the right.![]() Last edited by Bonehead; 08-25-2008 at 12:41. |

| BOFH ![]() | Another good IWB holster option. Comp-Tac MTAC <---- Comp Tac's Site My Comp-Tac MTAC review Usually delivers in under a week. Not cheap, however you can buy the whole holster once at $80, then buy a new Kydex body for additional guns for ~ $40 Means your 1911 IWB holster today, can be adjusted to carry your Glock 19 tomorrow, and your Sig P6 on Wednesday.

| BOFH ![]() | The Supertuck was my second choice behind the MTAC. It's a bit less expensive which is nice, but you can't change the body of the holster to fit different guns. If you only ever carry 1 type of pistol, that doesn't matter one bit. Supertuck is on my list of holsters to try out still. ![]()

![]() | You should check out High Noon Holsters website... They have good holsters at very reasonable prices! -J-
