    It might work OK for a LIGHTWEIGHT gun, but I think an heavy gun would tend to sag to one side as the weight of the frame and ammo would act to tip the handgun.

    I also don't like the idea of not having a trigger guard.

    I also don't like the idea of having the gun against my skin or shorts or whatever as when I reach for the gun I want to grab the gun and a slab of either leather or kydex against the body side of the gun prevents a clothing snag, but this has no such thing.

    I believe this has been discussed before, but don't feel like looking it up.

    Bottom line is no trigger guard is dangerous and makes this a no go.
