Are the new Weavers as good as, say, a Leupold? (I assume no, but figured I'd ask...)

I have no idea but I'm assuming no. I was just passing the deal find on to those who would like to know about it.

The only Weaver I've ever owned came on my 223 bolt gun which was quickly replaced. Not because the scope was bad, but because I had another one I wanted to put on it instead. I've still got it and it's going back on my 223 bolt gun since I took the other scope and put it on my AR.

I know Weaver scopes always used to be good, and these are fully-multicoated glass, but I don't know anything about them these days... They're MSRP priced like they're good, but who knows, really...
