Where to buy - inexpensive pistol box

Somewhere recently I saw an inexpensive pistol lock box. Lowes? Harbor Freight? It opened with push buttons and was something like $25-30.

Dad needs somewhere to lock up a couple of handguns. I thought I'd grab one of these for him. Does anyone know where I can get one of these things?

FYI - this needs to be grandkid proof, not serious professional thief proof.

Dude, grandkids can be pretty smart.. and grandpa needs to pick a good code AND hide the keys well...

I don't know where you saw them around $30, though, most that I've seen were closer to $50 for a key lock style only..

I thought I saw some at Gander mtn that were in that $50 range, but it could have been as little as $39 but I wasn't paying that much attention.

Only $25 at WalMart. Good enough to keep out the curious kid, but would likely be easily defeated with a prybar. Fits 8.5x11 documents and/or two fullsize handguns.

2 or 3 years ago Gander had them for $30 or $35 at Christmas time. Just recently I saw the same model, but didn't notice the price.

Stack-On | Strong Box Personal Safes and Quick Access Safes

I got one of these from Gander when I bought my Glock. They have different sizes, it's not padded inside but seems fairly sturdy. I think they were cheaper at Dick's.

If you get something that seals air tight, don't forget to put some desicant in it to dry out the air. I have heard of rusting guns in some of those small fire safes.
