Lighter Trigger Pull

Anyone out there with a Glock have the 3.5# trigger pull put on? I am thinking about it because after that first bit of slack I seem to pull down a bit on the gun when i squeeze the trigger. Thinking with a lighter trigger that I might be a bit more accurate on the range. I have been hearing stories about it though, that its not safe, etc. and just like everything with a gun, I guess its how you treat it, but I just wanted a bit of outside input.

Also how easy of a job is it? I was thinking about doing the 25 cent trigger job while I'm at it, but I don't know if I feel confident enough to disassemble my gun yet, might just take it in for the pull and see how that helps.

Thoughts? Comments?

Thanks.

Go for it.

I put one on my Glock 19, shot 50 rounds and put it on my Glock 30 and 21. It makes a world of difference. Also added the extended slide catch and trijicon sights. Now it's Glock Perfetion.

Was that intentional?

Are there other ways to "fix" the slack/creep w/o lightening the pull?

I have had a 3.5 connector in my glack 19 for years and I like. However, truth be told, it really doesnt make that much of a difference. For a target gun yes, for a self defense gun, well if you ever have to shoot when the adrenaline dumps and the world goes to #^&& wou wont know if its a 3.5, a 5, a 7 or a 22 pound trigger. Trust me on that one.

Hey aclark, just buy another Glock if you can't bring yourself to take apart your current Glock. You are doomed to buy another one, you already know you are.

Keep safe

Yea I know I am, I'm already looking at the Glock 23 for something smaller than my 22 to carry. I want the 3.5# on my 22 though mostly for the range and what not, doubt I'll be carrying it much.

@hickman, not exactly sure what im looking at there, care to elaborate?
this is what i was talking about GlockWorld - Glock Triggers - Trigger Pulls, Trigger Bars, Overtravel Stop, Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge

I use the LWD 3.5# connectors in ALL my Glocks, carry and comp guns, there is NOTHING unsafe about using them in a carry gun.
