I'm a big fan of Heinie Race Cut straight 8s. I've had soem other brands/styles, but the Heinies work best for me.

I have Meprolights on my G26, I have used Trijicons on my friend's G21, they are both quality products and I think either one would render similar end results.

Brand preference, price and availability will likely help your selection.

That said, I have shot Scutter01's XD 9mm with the XS big dots, I can't vouch for their brightness as it was outdoors on a sunny day, but they offer an up-close sight picture very quickly. I wouldn't mind finding a set of those for my Sig.

Like the XS big dots for fast sight pick up. Also the Trijicon. Seem brighter to me.

+1 for TRU Glo TFO pics in my album or I can email some on my old xd sub compact
& Taurus does offer their Heinie str8 in trijicon for the PT1911 low snag

Trijicons, seem to last longer than Meprolights, but I have both on many guns and am happy with ether.

I like the big dots as well for quick target. But they might take some getting used to. They did for me. But now I swear by them on a carry gun.

A sight tool is easiest, but a brass punch and a hammer work just as well and isn't all that hard either.
