![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I had been hearing good thing about Raven online but never through to switch because my Blade-Tech worked fine. After a week I can say the Raven works better. The Blade-Tech was my first holster and it has proven to be very durable. The kydex on the Raven is significantly thinner. This is great for concealment.... for long term durability I don't know but I have no doubt after talking to the guys at the 1500 that they stand behind their product. I had mine made up for my G19 at the 1500. I believe this model comes standard with the plastic pieces you see with a blue zip tie through them in the pic. I'm used to the "pull the dots" so I asked them to set me up with those. ![]() The Raven is a better design. The holster is wider but conforms to the body much better. The pull the dot loops are in a better position because they are placed on either side of the gun so you aren't wasting valuable space. I also find that this holster is more forgiving for some reason. I can get the gun in and out a lot easier. Overall I'm very impressed and the guys who own the company seem like good people who really stand behind their product.

I did however, just recently, have a snap assembly come unscrewed when I was putting it on, parts falling everywhere. I think maybe some blue Loctite may solve that though. BTW - I used the second hole down on the back of the holster for the rear strap to get the same forward cant as the Sparks SSII I was using. It also draws the but in closer to me.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | for me, one of the major pluses of the raven system is the modularity. for the holster, change the loops/hooks and it configures for range use or concealment. you can bolt the different holsters, pouches and carriers in many ways. when carrying a 1911, holster configured for iwb and a double mag carrier with a small holster bolted to it for my p3at. slightly different config for the glocks, but y'all get the picture.

| INGO Bishop of Bacon ![]() | Yeah, but realistically, anything looks good on Pami.

| INGO Cardinal of Communications ![]() | I was going to say something here..... But deemed it slightly above PG-13, and will instead just leave you all to wonder. ![]() I do however agree with Scutter.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The point here, fellow moderators, is that Raven makes a decent holster. It's thin, light, durable, and comfortable. No matter who is wearing it.
