Looking for LED flashlight

I want something with a clip, in case I want to carry in my pocket. I do want an LED. I also do not want to spend much over $100. Any good recomendations?

What size are you looking for? What will be the primary purpose/function?

I know many have been very fond of Streamlight products, and esrice had the following review of their microstream product. Very nice and well recommended small/pocket flashlight.

Others such as Stryker, Pelican, etc which all fall into your price range or significantly cheaper. You can also get into a Surefire for your budget or just a tad more.

And, sometimes, a good ol Mag light will do the trick.

Look at the webstore 4sevens, they have great prices and great lights. In your price range look at the Quark in 2x123, great light, small, light, bright, has a clip and well under $100.

It all depends on your mission/needs, but this one has suited me (and several others) quite well.

I want something really no biger then 5". On the other hand, something that is fairly bright. Just in case, I had to confront someone in a dim lit area. I hold my light with my weak side elbow at a 90 degree angle, with strong hand rist resting on top. That way, I can easily move my light and weapon together. I do carry, a nice LED in my vehicle but would also like something smaller to fit in my pocket.

You may be surprised at what the $15 Streamlight Microstream can do for your situation. It's not large enough to be used as an impact weapon, but it is all those things you listed above.

Try one, and if it doesn't do what you want, take your remaining $85 and buying something nicer.

Come to think of it, I've got an extra Microstream you can try out. I visit my cop buddy in Columbus every now and then and could drop it off to you in the next couple weeks. I could even ship it to you for cheap.
