![]() | Any home made case cleaning receipes? I've been cleaning a lot of brass cases lately. Part of my plan to finally organize my brass, clean and store it until I need to load it. I generally use corn cob media in a Thumblers Tumbler. I was wondering if anyone has a home made receipe for treating the media. I've used Brasso, commercial additives, etc. I used Lyman tumbling media which got the cases very shiny, but left a lot of red rouge residue. I read where someone use vinegar and it made the cases brittle and prone to splitting. I've thought about adding baking soda or other household ingredients, but I don't have any information about that. Basically, I'm trying to cut costs. |
