POPS Guns Selling Ranger Talons??????

I was at Pops guns after the 1500 two birds one trip to indy, and they had cases of Rager rounds at the counter and advertised them as the talon brand. The only problem is that talon ammo all have a t in the product description. It looks like they are just selling the ranger fmj which while good ammo is not the talon and certainly not $30 a box. Just wondering if anyone else saw this?

T = Law Enforcement ammo designation.

The ammo Pops guns is selling is not the ranger talon. There is no "T" in the model # on the box on their stuff.

"T" does in fact mean Talon. Winchester had to take away the Black Talon name after the sh## storm of controversy was brewed up some years back over the Black Talon name.

Even though Ranger T's are good SD ammunition, they really does not hold up against newer, more advanced ammunition design and are very prone to jacket separation. Modern ammunition like Speer Gold-Dots and Federal HST's are much better SD ammunition. In fact, it you Google ballistics testing for Federal HST ammo you will find that nothing else out there really compares for expansion, weight retention and penetration.

That **** is awesome! Hard to come by, I've only seen it on Don's TV ads.

Yeah, I love Federal HST, run them in both my Sig and my Glock.
