    Hi gang,

I haven't been active in the hobby for a while. What is the going price for used brass by the 100 or 500 count? Calibers that I will be selling are; 380, 9mm, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, 38 Spl, 223, and some odds and ends.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Depends. Clean or not? Mixed? Military or commercial? Spp or lpp on the 45?

Personally here's what my max is. Some of your calibers I don't shoot so no input there.

    Per 1k. Dirty mixed brass.

    9mm. 25
    380. 60
    40. 30
    223. 50

At those prices it should move quickly.

Where is all this brass at? I've been looking for bulk 9mm, maybe 2k, but everytime it goes in the classifieds its immediately gone.

    Same here.

Seems like all the sources for "affordable" range scrounged 9mm AND .223/5.56 have dried up.

You can find prepared brass everywhere, but I like to do a little work and save a little money.

I spend a lot of time picking up brass at our little range and throwing it in the trash can. Club rules require members to pick up their brass but there a several people who do not follow the rule. Today I filled a coffee can with mostly 9 mm and a few hundred 223 pieces. Picking up the 22 brass really pi**es me off for some reason.
