Anyone have experience with Geco ammo for .40 S&W or .223? Found it for $309/1000 plus $16 shipping for a total of $0.325/round for .223. Most online reviews seem pretty positive, but any feedback from fellow INGO'ers? The same website had PMC Bronze for the same price. Which would be your choice between the two and why? Their price is pretty good on 9mm and .40 as well.

Applied Ballistics in Lafayette has been selling GECO ammo for a couple years. It is pretty good ammo. I have used their .22, 9mm and .223. The .22 feels waxy, but does not dirty the gun and is accurate. The 9m & .223 is clean shooting and showed no problems.

I've shot a few hundred rounds of the 9mm w/o issue when my friend found it at a decent price at Rural King. I wouldn't hesitate to use more of it in 9mm or .40sw if I found it at a competitive price somewhere.

I have used their 9mm and .223. Worked great. Now, we was just plinking with the .223 at a family gathering, so I can't talk about groups on target. But it ran well and went bang every time.

Their .223 is AWESOME practice ammo compared to similar PMC stuff. I had great accuracy with my rifles in it, but it is FMJBT, so don't expect Federal Gold Medal Match accuracy levels. Was solid 2MOA stuff in a rifle that would do .6-.7MOA with my handloads, all day repeatable.

I've shot Geco off and on for years. I have light blue and red boxes, blue and black boxes and the new mostly red boxes.

I've shot a bunch of the .223, and I like it. IMO one of the better plinking/training ammo. Only downside is it loaded a little on the light side. Their 22 is o.k., of the rifles I've shot it in it has only been middle of the pack for accuracy.
