Quick question. Does anyone have a load for the Hornady 150 grn SST using Varget powder? I will be loading to magazine length for my 18" Remington 700 sp. It just so happens to have a lead of about 3/8 of an inch per lawyers at Remingtons orders so I'm just going to start at 2.8. I have about 6 pounds of Varget and about 10000 CCIBR primers so I'm going with that, using Federal brass. Im thinking about 45.5- 46 grains should be a place to start. Anyone got anything else? Thanks.

The other components were Hornady cases and Winchester large rifle standard primers, with the total case overall length with the SST listed as 2.735".
The rifle they have listed in which they worked up these loads was a Ruger M77 MKII with a 22" barrel.
