Spotted the 180g flat point lead bullet at MO Bullet in 358 diameter. Anyone load this? Thinking of something under 13 grain 2400 powder as a upper limit. Based this on the 180g fitting deeper in case than my 158g lswc by 10%. So reduce 158g load by 10%

I load their moly coated version on the 180gr pug for my sons deer load out of his 357 HR rifle. I experimented with a few powders and ultimately went with 4227. Shoots a nice clover leaf pattern @ 50 yards running right at 1250fps just the right distance for hunting his stand.

    Uh.....no
    Pressure curves are NOT linear.
    You can't extrapolate.

Lyman Cast #4 lists the Saeco 180gr w/ 2400. If the profile is similar, that would be a fair place to start

Don't go interpolating your powder charges and instead stick to actual data.
According to Loaddata.com, 180 grain cast bullets using 2400 should have a starting powder charge of 8.0 grains and 12.0 grains for maximum charge level.
